Competition Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the Meet the Harleys competition conducted by the competition promoter: Gold Rand Harley Davidson [insert registration number]. By entering into this competition you agree to be bound by the competition rules below.

This prize draw is open to residents of the Republic of South Africa, aged 18 years or over. A director, member, partner, employee or agent of, family member, or consultant to the promoter or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by, the promoter, or to a supplier of goods or services in connection with the competition is prohibited from entering into the competition and no prize may be awarded to such person. Entry to the competition is free of charge. To gain entry into the prize draw, you will need to enter your details into the applicable form and answer the qualifying question correctly. Entries may be made via the website, via social media platforms or via a paper form. There is a limit of 5 entries per person per day. You agree for the promoter and their agents associated to this competition using your personal information for the purpose of this competition and for the purpose of marketing or promoting the promoters products and services to You. Opting out of marketing communications will not however, prohibit you from entering the competition, nor from being a prize winner.

Your entry into the competition means that you agree and understand that you will stand a chance to win a prize only and that there is no guarantee that you will be receiving any prize. This competition will be overseen and audited by an independent person, being an accountant, registered auditor or attorney or advocate. Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries will not be accepted.

Prizes

Monthly Prizes: R800-00 or less Official Harley-Davidson T-Shirts
Grand Prize: One Harley Davidson Sportster 883 Iron Bike
Prizes are not transferable and there are no cash alternatives.

Prize Draw Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be chosen at random by a specialised computer program from the entries validly received before the competition closing date, being 12:00 on 31st August 2011. One winner will be chosen per month for the prize of an original Harley Davidson T-Shirt. Winners of the monthly prize will still be eligible to win the grand prize but may not win the monthly prize more than once. Should this occur, the promoters will redraw a winner. Prize winners will be notified telephonically or via email, using the address details provided by the entrant. Where the prize winner is unlocatable on such details, another winner will be drawn. Once a winner has been selected and verified, their prize will be delivered to them within [insert] days from date of the prize draw.

Publicity and Marketing

Winners' names are posted on the competition website, as well as photographs taken of the winners with their prizes. Winners have the right to decline for any images of themselves to be used in marketing activities associated with this competition. By participating in any such marketing activity however, winners assigns to the promoter any and all present and future copyright and any other rights in publicity materials and images in relation to the competition for the full period of copyright and any extensions or renewals.
